This book gave details about the mind of a narcissistic man. I found it to be very true to my situation.
A concise description for the lay person. Some spelling and typos. A great resource for writer's needing guidance on character development.
I really enjoyed this book. It is informative and easy to understand. It also offers good advice. I recommend this book.
Great book....would have given it a 5, but there are entirely waaaay too many typos, kind of almost makes you question the thoroughness and credibility of the author, but at the exact same time, it is obvious to anyone who has dated a person with NPD, that the author is very well-knowledgeable on the disorder, and offers excellent coping skills and techniques for moving beyond the damage of the NPD.
Good book, but expected more detailed information. Beginners book on narcissism. Worth reading if you are interested, but there are better out there.
In an age of "selfies," it seems society is grooming an army of narcissists. It's good to have information like this available to understand and deal with them.
I think most people are narcissistic to a greater or lesser degree but it's when the trait is magnified in an individual that it can become a real problem. Recognizing whether someone is extremely selfish or has a narcissistic disorder is an important step in being able to deal with them and this book helps explain the difference
